The world of video games has its own complicated jargon a mishmash of Japanese terms, hacker words and pop culture images. When you are trying to buy something for your video game obsessed friend or family member, it can be hard to figure out just what you are buying. In one sense, if you buy a video game, you would think that everything you needed to enjoy the game was included. But if you play a game through once, then what? Are you still as interested in that game knowing that you can unlock all of its secrets? Halo sprites make the Halo games an added dimension of twists and challenges lacking in the original game.
Besides, Halo sprites engage the players creativity and make the player a more active participant in the kinds of games he or she like to play.
And not only can they play video games. They can make their own comic strips based on Halo sprites and scenes from Halo. Granted, these comic strips are generally funny to only Halo players, but they still exercise the creative part of the brain. Cartoonists who use computer graphics as their drawing board are called spriters.
